Christ’s College Taipei Campus Planning
Located on Ziqiang Road, New Taipei City, Christ’s College Taipei sits on a hilltop right by Tamsui River. The institution was originally founded by overseas Baptist missionaries in the early 60’s and has now developed into a 3.5 acres campus with 500 students and faculty. It is expecting to occupy 800 people in the near future.
The planning aims to synthesize the college’s existing qualities including its natural resources, architectural prototype, and academic culture. Together with comprehensive analysis on the existing open spaces, traffic condition, landscape variety, and mechanical systems, the eventual goal is to create a quality campus with sufficient land use, unique open spaces, and dynamic vegetation.
