Pudong Building Interior Design, Yew Chung International School, Shanghai

This is an interior design project that integrates the image of the school’s philosophy to express the belief of technology, culture, art, and humanity.

In consideration of the safety for students and faculty, the design systemizes colors, materials, styles, and piping to ensure the quality of the structure and firefighting, and thus creates a non-traditional, vivid, and diverse education environment.

In order to establish the identity of each space, aluminum grilles are used in the atrium to silhouette the weaving expression as well as the variation of the greenery emphasizing the flexibility of the school. In the meantime, the vocabulary forms a green school campus via rhythmic material changes.
