Taiwan Power Company Ultra High Voltage Transformer Building Turn-key Construction

Songhu UHV is a crucial part of Taipower’s sixth power grid plan and one of four UHV substations in Taipei. The design depicts two different depths in dialogue and stringer to the context. The vertical plant walls on east and north facades recalls the residential image by extending greenery from neighborhood parks. At twilight, the walls and south façade gradually catching eyes from drivers on the nearby expressway via emitting gentle light through its translucent glass external walls. The unique image with its reflection on the Keelung River would become a collective morning of Taipei.
