Taiwan Architecture magazine Vol.251 features JJP-designed Taichung First High School Student Center & Archive that is a adaptive reuse of historical heritage project. The building was originally built during Japanese occupation. Afterwards, the building became a space for student activities where many alumni’s memory rooted. In this way, through the adaptive reuse preservation, the team wishes to re-organize the interior and exterior space, while builds up a new various networking for the campus.
